Jenna Fischer's most famous role was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular television show The Office. In recognition of her performance, she won the Emmy award for Best Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won two SAG Awards.
In Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was a child who watched her mother Anne who was a church performer. The experience instilled an interest in theater.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her roots. She starred with Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway play Reasons for Being Happy. In the following play, she was in Steve Martin's newest production Meteor Shower. It was an absurdist comedic piece opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg and ran for record breaking time at Old Globe Theatre.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast that airs on Earwolf in October 2019. The show has been an enormous success, making its Top Ten worldwide every week as well as receiving over 200 million downloads during its first two-years. The podcast premiered in January of 2021. Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends there. This autobiography is about their friendship and the work they did in the production of The Office.
