Amy and Janet

Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. Her fame is for portraying naive characters that are adorable and enjoyable. Adams was raised in Italy and her father was in the U.S. military and she grew up in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. The actress began acting and dancing professionally at the end of the 90s. She was part of Boulder Dinner Theatre, and then at the Country Dinner Playhouse. Later, in Minnesota in a small local theatre, she was a selected to play a role in a mock film documentary on beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous. Following her successful screen debut where she played an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet relocated from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began professional acting. Between June 1951 and September of 1962, she got married with actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began in mid- 1940s, after she was accepted by MGM. She had been noticed by Norma shearer. Over the course of the 1960s, she appeared in a variety of films, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.
