Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress who is best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical drama The Resident. Also, she was recognized by her debut on television as Eleni Andros Cooper on CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch were amongst the credits of her films. According to reports, she is working with Vlas & Charley Parlapanides who wrote Immortals for the basis to Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The actress is also working on a new series called Gods & Heroes.
